Katharina Prause

Katharina Prause is an experienced professional in the field of food and agriculture, currently serving as a freelance consultant at Food in Transition since January 2022 and as a strategic advisor and initiator for food transition at Gemeente Gooise Meren. Prause has a strong background in managing and developing food-related projects, having held positions such as interim agricultural policy advisor at Gemeente Purmerend and project leader for Interreg FoodChains4EU. Other notable roles include leading the establishment of the Slow Food Professionals Community and working with various municipalities on food and health initiatives. Prause holds a Master of Science in Organic Agriculture from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
