Marjolein Broos

Marjolein Broos is an experienced professional in energy transition and economic affairs, currently serving as Programmamanager energietransitie at Gemeente Gouda since April 2008. In this role, Marjolein leads efforts to prepare Gouda for a gas-free future, collaborating with colleagues to develop a Regional Energy Strategy and a Transition Vision for Heat. Previously, Marjolein worked as an account manager for economic affairs at the same municipality, acting as an intermediary between businesses and local government. Prior experience includes serving as a conference manager at Euroforum BV and as a policy advisor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Marjolein holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Utrecht University, completed in 2001.
