Alissa Zuijdgeest

Alissa Zuijdgeest is a professional specializing in sustainability with experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Since March 2022, Alissa has worked at Gemeente Haaksbergen as a Medewerker duurzaamheid. Prior to this, Alissa served as Projectleider Aardgasvrij Klapwijk at Gemeente Pijnacker-Nootdorp from March 2021 to March 2022. Alissa's expertise includes a position as Senior vakspecialist bodem at DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond from February 2019 to February 2021, and experience as a Docent/Onderzoeker at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education from January 2017 to January 2019. Alissa conducted doctoral research at ETH Zurich and Eawag from October 2012 to December 2016 and worked as a KNAW Academie Assistent and student assistant at Universiteit Utrecht from September 2009 to July 2011. Alissa holds a Master of Science in Geochemistry from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from the same institution, along with participation in a research project at Florida State University.
