Hester Elst

Hester Elst currently serves as the Coördinator Sociaal Domein Haaksbergen at Gemeente Haaksbergen since February 2024. Prior to this role, Hester held the position of Team Manager at Saxion University of Applied Sciences from January 2022 to February 2024, and worked as Teamcoach and Wijkcoach at Wijkteams Enschede between September 2015 and January 2022. Hester's career in social work began as a Maatschappelijk werker at SMD Enschede en Haaksbergen from December 1999 to November 2009. Hester holds a Master's degree in Healthcare and Social Work from Saxion University of Applied Sciences (2017-2019) and has completed several other educational programs in social work and related fields, including studies at Windesheim and the University of Queensland.
