Erik Brands

Erik Brands has a diverse work experience in various roles within different organizations. Erik started their career as an Applicatiebeheerder BWT4all in Gemeente Amsterdam, Stadsdeel Centrum in 2004 and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Functioneel Beheerder at Dienst Belastingen Gemeente Amsterdam. In 2011, they joined Gemeente Boarnsterhim as a Coordinator Functioneel beheer. Currently, Erik is working at Gemeente Heerenveen where they have held multiple roles, including Informatie Adviseur, Lid Ondernemingsraad, and their current position as CISO (Security Officer).

Erik Brands has a comprehensive education history, which includes various degrees and certifications. In 1979, they attended VWO AugustinusCollege, where they pursued a degree in VWO until 1987. In 2008, Erik studied at BiSL and obtained a BiSL Foundation degree. Similarly, in 2012, they attended Prince 2 and gained a Prince 2 Foundation degree. Erik also attended CISO in 2015, specializing in ICT-beheer / ICT-beheerder.
