Gineke Smelt

Gineke Smelt is a seasoned financial advisor with extensive experience in the public sector. Currently serving as a Tactisch Financieel Adviseur Sociaal Domein at Gemeente Hengelo since March 2012, Gineke has held various roles, including Senior Financieel Adviseur Sociaal Domein and Coördinator bedrijfsvoering decentralisaties sociaal domein. Prior to this, Gineke gained valuable experience at Deloitte Accountants BV from September 2005 to March 2012, progressing from Staff to Senior Staff and serving as an auditor in the Audit Public Sector. Gineke holds a Postmaster degree in Register Accountant and a Drs degree in Economics, both from the University of Groningen, alongside a Gymnasium diploma from CSG Het Noordik.
