Eva de Fretes

Eva de Fretes is an experienced legal professional specializing in privacy and various areas of civil law. Currently serving as a Privacy Officer at Gemeente Hilvarenbeek since November 2024, Eva has previously worked as a project consultant at YER and held interim legal advisory roles at Gemeente Deurne and Gemeente Gennep. With a robust background in private law, board secretary responsibilities, and coordination of complaints and requests, Eva’s expertise is further complemented by experience as a lawyer and legal advisor in civil law, construction law, and contract law. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Rechtsgeleerdheid from Tilburg University and a Bachelor’s degree in Recht from Juridisch Hogeschool Tilburg Avans-Fontys, along with a traineeship in the Omgevingswet.
