John van der Knaap

John van der Knaap currently serves as Regisseur duurzaamheid fysiek domein at Gemeente Huizen, focusing on sustainability challenges such as energy transition, climate adaptation, and circular economy. In addition, John has held a role as a member of the supervisory board at Delfshaven Coöperatie since July 2018. Previously, John worked at Havensteder in various positions from July 2011 to February 2024, including Advisor Strategy and Senior Project Leader Strategy, overseeing complex, multidisciplinary projects. Earlier experience includes roles at Com·wonen, ranging from Portfoliomanager to financial administrative roles, contributing to the development and management of property portfolios. John’s career began at Van ’t Hof Makelaardij as a financial administrative employee, managing responsibilities related to rental accounts and bookkeeping.
