Annemijn van Gorp is an experienced professional in data strategy and management, currently serving as Chief Data Officer at Gemeente Leiden since August 2022. Prior roles include Strategic Information Manager at Parnassia Groep, and Coordinator of the Departmental Data Center at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, where responsibilities involved overseeing data initiatives. Annemijn has academic experience as a Lecturer and Researcher at De Haagse Hogeschool and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente. A strong research background includes a role as a Senior Economic Advisor at OPTA, a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Ryerson University's Ted Rogers School of Management, and a PhD Candidate at Penn State University.
