Luiten Plekker

Luiten Plekker currently serves as a Managing Consultant at BMC since May 2024, focusing on complex and strategic issues in housing for housing corporations and government entities. In addition, Luiten Plekker has been a Strategic Advisor at Portaal, a major housing corporation in the Netherlands, since November 2006, where responsibilities include managing the Passend Wonen program, which addresses affordability and housing solutions. Luiten Plekker also holds the position of Strategic Advisor with Berghauser Pont Mediagroep and serves as a guest lecturer on sustainability, addressing energy transition in housing. As Chair of the Council Committee for the Municipality of Medemblik since 2006, Luiten Plekker oversees discussions on financial and governance matters, alongside serving as Fractievoorzitter for GemeenteBelangen. Previous experience includes a role as an Associate focused on the housing market at Seminars op Maat and as a Policy Advisor at Rijkswaterstaat. Luiten Plekker holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Leiden University and completed the Leergang De aankomende commissaris program in 2022.
