Jos Baan

Jos Baan holds extensive experience in digitalization, data protection, and information security within various governmental organizations. Currently serving as CISO a.i. at OFGV since October 2024 and as an advisor in data protection and information security at NCOD since May 2016, Jos Baan has taken on numerous roles such as Functionaris Gegevensbescherming for multiple municipalities and organizations, including gemeente Meierijstad and Werkzaak Rivierenland. Previous positions include implementing the Baseline Information Security for the gemeente Rhenen and serving as Adviseur privacy at HLTsamen. Jos Baan earned a Master of Science in Organizational Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Windesheim.
