Marielies Schrijnemakers

Marielies Schrijnemakers has extensive experience in municipal management and policy leadership, currently serving as a Leidinggevende beleid sociaal domein en P&O and previously as Leidinggevende openbaar gebied en beleid sociaal domein at gemeente Meierijstad since November 2016. Prior roles include Manager at Gemeente Veghel, where Marielies led an integrale beleidsafdeling, and Afdelingshoofd at Gemeente Cranendonck, overseeing the policy areas of Ruimte and Maatschappij. Additional experience includes leadership positions in Publiekszaken and as a Beleidsmedewerker at various municipalities, including Gemeente Budel and Gemeente Valkenswaard. Marielies holds a degree from Sociale Hogeschool Heverlee, completed education at Vrije humaniora voor meisjes, and has been active in the public sector since 1982.
