Marja Mentink

Marja Mentink is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in heritage development, project management, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Regisseur for Veenhuizen at Gemeente Noordenveld, Marja oversees the development of the village as a UNESCO World Heritage site. At Turning Places, Marja operates as a project leader and advisor, specializing in repurposing heritage projects. As an ontwikkelingsmanager at BOEi, Marja manages the cultural incubator 'De Blokhuispoort' and conducts feasibility studies on vacant heritage sites. Previously, Marja held various roles in logistics, hospitality, and entrepreneurship, contributing to her diverse skill set. Marja holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work focused on Cultural and Social Development from NHL Stenden and has trained in international business studies.
