Janine Otten

Janine Otten is a seasoned professional in social policy and debt management, currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur armoede en schulden at Gemeente Rijssen-Holten since February 2023, and concurrently as a docent for the 'Hoe word je rijk' program at Money Start since January 2022. Previous experience includes project leadership at Gemeente Almelo from January 2019 to February 2023, where the focus was on reducing debt issues through the Schuldenlab initiative. Prior to that, Janine worked as a Wijkcoach at Avedan and held various positions at Jeugdbescherming Overijssel and St. Jeugdzorg Twente, accruing extensive experience in youth protection and support services. Janine holds a degree from Hogeschool Windesheim and has completed distance learning at NHA.
