Marcel Timmermans

Marcel Timmermans is an experienced manager and consultant in information provision and ICT, currently serving as Manager Informatievoorziening, ICT en FD at Gemeente Schiedam since November 2022. Previously, Marcel held multiple leadership roles at Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg from July 2017 to October 2022, including PLV sectordirecteur bedrijfsondersteuning and Manager service & informatievoorziening, overseeing departments such as service and information provision, advice and control, and project management. Marcel also founded Tablet Trainingen, offering tailored tablet training and efficiency consulting from November 2011 to July 2019. Additional experience includes training on paperless meetings using iPads, and a business consultant role at Phanos Management Advies, along with project management positions at various organizations, including VolkerWessels and Gemeente Bernisse. Marcel holds an EDP auditor degree from Tilburg University and a Bachelor's degree in HEAO-BI from Windesheim.
