Patricia Verkade

Patricia Verkade is an experienced communication advisor with a diverse background in public sector communication and project management. Currently serving as a communication advisor at Gemeente Schiedam since January 2020, Patricia specializes in various projects related to mobility, green initiatives, climate adaptation, and area development, while also participating in the municipality's crisis organization. Previous roles include interim professional communication at Yacht, online editor for Gemeente Den Haag, and communication advisor in several capacities within the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Patricia has also held positions such as project manager and editorial manager at Sdu Uitgevers, communication advisor at Borstkankervereniging Nederland, and community and campaign manager for Wheel of Energy 365. Patricia holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and NIMA qualifications in corporate communication.
