Matthijs van Kooten

Matthijs van Kooten has extensive experience in the social domain, currently serving as Implementatiemanager Sociaal Domein at Gemeente Soest since December 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of MetMaya for specialized youth care and developing the Uitvoeringsplan Sociaal Domein. Previous roles include advising on youth policy and leading neighborhood projects in Soest, serving as Adviseur Kwaliteit & Contractmanagement at Gemeente Zaanstad, and various policy advisory positions focused on social issues at multiple municipalities, including Sliedrecht and Apeldoorn. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Communication from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
