Mert Tirgil

Mert Tirgil is an accomplished finance professional with a diverse background in financial control, auditing, and project management within various municipal and organizational settings. Currently serving as Team Leader of Finance and Control at Gemeente Soest since July 2023, Mert has also been a PR Manager at Stichting BOZporus since 2016, focusing on projects in less affluent regions, primarily Kosovo. Previous roles include Controller at Gemeente Den Haag, Project Leader and Trainee positions in multiple municipalities, and a Business Controller at Flevoziekenhuis. Mert's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance & Control from Netherlands Business Academy, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
