Daan van Grieken

Daan van Grieken is a professional in urban water management with extensive experience in the field. Since January 2022, Daan has served as the owner of DvG Riooladvies en Ondersteuning. Prior to this, from June 2015 to present, Daan has been employed at Gemeente Valkenswaard as a beleidsmedewerker stedelijk water, managing the future of sewage systems and public spaces, including the development of various plans and advising on urban water issues. Daan previously worked as a senior medewerker Beheer Openbare Ruimte, overseeing the municipality's sewage system and project management. Earlier roles include being a rioolbeheerder at Gemeente Bergen op Zoom and an intern at IMARES, focusing on laboratory experiments related to water usage. Daan holds a Bachelor of Water Management from HZ University of Applied Sciences and completed additional training in sewage systems.
