Tom Vermue is an experienced managerial professional in the field of spatial planning and policy. Currently serving as Manager Ruimtelijk Beleid and Programmamanager Bereikbaar Valkenswaard at Gemeente Valkenswaard since July 2019, Tom oversees the execution of the Bereikbaar Valkenswaard program and leads various projects aligned with its objectives. Additionally, as Vice voorzitter of the ondernemingsraad, Tom participates in organizational changes and provides unsolicited advice on relevant issues. With a solid background in project leadership, Tom has successfully managed significant projects such as the redevelopment of Valkenswaard’s central area and road redesigns in Dommelen. Previous experience includes roles as an adviser at Raadhuis Advies BV and as a project technician at Oranjewoud, focusing on spatial planning and stakeholder communication.
