Masja Gemser

Masja Gemser has a diverse background in the fields of cultural heritage and journalism. Currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker monumentenzorg and casemanager Wabo at GEMEENTE VELSEN since 2002, Masja is responsible for the implementation of monument policy. Prior experience includes working as a Conservator at Museum Beeckestijn from 1995 to 2002, where responsibilities included research, exhibition curation, and collection management. Additionally, Masja has experience as a freelance journalist for IJmuider Courant from 1994 to 1997 and as a communicatiemedewerker at SWING during 1994-1995. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Amsterdam, along with various specialized courses in monument preservation and management.
