Mariska Kerkvliet

Mariska Kerkvliet has extensive experience in the legal and administrative fields, currently serving as the Deputy Secretary of the Appeals Committee at gemeente West Maas en Waal since June 2015, where responsibilities include handling appeals under administrative law. Additionally, Mariska works as a Legal Advisor and Integral Safety Officer, addressing a range of legal inquiries, and has coordinated responses to the Covid-19 crisis. Previous roles include a position as a Policy Officer in Social Development, a Legal Trainee at DisGover, and a Project Employee focusing on youth policy at KING. Mariska has also volunteered as a Legal Advisor for Stichting Rechtopjerecht and gained valuable experience in various support roles in both legal and recruitment settings. Mariska holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Private Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Utrecht University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
