Jacob Bijker

Jacob Bijker is an experienced project leader and GIS consultant with a strong background in data management and infrastructure within municipal settings. Currently serving as Projectleider Data Kabels en Leidingen at Gemeente Groningen since March 2022, Jacob focuses on professionalizing the registration of underground infrastructure. Jacob has held various roles, including Project Specialist Beheer at Gemeente Waadhoeke and Interim GIS-Consultant at Gemeente Apeldoorn, where Jacob contributed to centralizing and digitizing information systems. With a Bachelor's Degree in Geodesie / Geoinformatie from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and additional qualifications in information management, Jacob is dedicated to optimizing environmental management processes and enhancing data models across multiple municipalities.
