Sander Ploeg

Sander Ploeg has extensive experience in public policy, particularly focusing on circular economy and waste management. Since January 2019, Sander has served as a Policy Advisor for Circular Economy at Gemeente Westerkwartier. Concurrently, from September 2015, Sander has held the position of Policy Advisor for Waste Affairs and Secretary at the Regional Cooperation Waste (RCW) for the municipalities of Marum and Leek. Prior experience includes various roles at Gemeente Marum, including Policy Advisor for Environmental Affairs from 2002 to December 2018. Sander's educational background includes a Bachelor of Public Management in Public Administration from Thorbecke Academie, further studies at Bestuursacademie Noord Nederland, and additional education at Het Van Hall Instituut.
