Henry van Veldhuizen

Henry van Veldhuizen is an expert in water management and sustainability with extensive experience in various roles within the sector. Currently serving as an Ontwikkeladviseur Water en Duurzaamheid at Waterwaarde since January 2022, Henry provides independent advisory support across different areas, including project and program management. As a Gemeenteraadslid SGP Woudenberg since May 2020, Henry engages in local governance. Previously, Henry held the position of Program Manager for the Blue Deal at Unie van Waterschappen and managed urban water initiatives at Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe. With a background in engineering and strategic advisory roles, Henry has worked in multiple organizations, contributing to innovative solutions in water treatment and resource recovery. Educational credentials include an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and additional studies at the University of Twente.
