Merve G.

Merve G. has a diverse work experience spanning across several companies and roles. Merve is currently the Head of Finance - Group at Gemfields Group, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Group Reporting at Gemfields Group from October 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Gemfields Group, Merve worked at THG, where they held various positions including Group Financial Controller from December 2021 to September 2022, Group Finance Manager from January 2021 to December 2021, and Group Reporting Analyst from December 2018 to January 2021.

Merve also served as the Management Reporting and Consolidation Senior Specialist at Turkcell from June 2016 to May 2018, and as the Chief, Consolidation & Reporting at Soktas Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. from February 2013 to June 2016.

Merve began their career as an Audit Senior at KPMG from July 2010 to February 2013. Prior to that, they completed an internship at the State Planning Organization, Center for E.U. Education and Youth Programmes in March 2010.

Merve also gained experience as a Part Time Assistant at Aspect Market Research in Manchester, UK in November-December 2009, and as a Consultant (MBus Intern) at Organic Insulation Ltd. in Manchester, UK from June to August 2009.

Merve G. obtained a Master of Business degree in Global Business Analysis from Alliance Manchester Business School in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Ege University from 2004 to 2008. Merve also attended İzmir Özel Türk Koleji for high school education. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as First Aid, Teaching Mat Pilates, Certified Public Accountant, Capital Market Activities, Corporate Governance Rating, Credit Rating, Introduction to Marketing, and Leadership.
