Marcel Wilms

Marcel Wilms is a co-founder and Head of Business Development at gemineers, a deep-tech startup in Aachen, Germany, specializing in data-driven software for quality evaluation in the manufacturing industry. With extensive experience at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT as a Research Fellow and Consultant in High Performance Cutting, Marcel also contributed to the EXIST Transfer of Research Project "Quantify" and served as a Digital Twin Expert at the International Center for Networked, Adaptive Production ICNAP. Additional roles include consulting for WBA Aachener Werkzeugbau Akademie GmbH and previous positions in event management and internships at AUDI AG and Volkswagen Navarra. Marcel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
