Tommy Venek

Tommy Venek is a co-founder and Head of Technology Development at gemineers, a deep-tech startup in Aachen, Germany, focused on software development for data-driven quality evaluation in the manufacturing industry since August 2021. Prior to this, Tommy Venek held several roles at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT from February 2012 to April 2023, including Technical Director of the EXIST Forschungstransfer project and Group Leader in Process Planning and Digitalization. Tommy Venek's early experience includes an internship in work preparation for stator manufacturing at MTU Aero Engines in late 2012 and research assistant positions in high-performance cutting at the Fraunhofer Institute. Tommy Venek earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production Technology from RWTH Aachen University between 2010 and 2017.
