Chris Tierno

Chris Tierno serves as the Deputy General Counsel at Gemini since July 2024, previously holding the same title at Paxos from October 2020 to July 2024. Tierno has extensive experience in the legal field, including a role as Vice President at American Express Global Business Travel between August 2017 and April 2020, which followed the acquisition of HRG. Additional roles include Associate General Counsel at Knewton from April 2016 to August 2017, Senior Legal Counsel for the Americas and APAC at HRG from February 2012 to April 2016, and Associate at White & Case from March 2008 to September 2011. Tierno earned a Juris Doctor in International Law and Legal Studies from The University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma.
