Rick Ramgattie

Rick Ramgattie is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in application security, currently serving as a Principal Application Security Engineer at Gemini since January 2020. In this role, Rick has developed multiple Semgrep rules that led to the identification of critical security vulnerabilities and conducted in-depth reverse engineering of malicious tactics used in phishing campaigns. Previously, Rick held various positions at Independent Security Evaluators from December 2015 to December 2019, progressing from Associate Security Analyst to Senior Security Analyst and Team Lead, where responsibilities included team management and assessment support. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Security and Computer Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, earned between 2012 and 2015.
