Efrat Shabtay

Efrat Shabtay has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. Efrat began their career in 2005 as a Human Resources Manager for Maabarot Products Ltd (MABR). In this role, they were responsible for managing Human Resources for the Corporate Headquarters, specializing in talent recruitment and retention, employee professional training and general welfare. In the same year, they also began working as a Human Resources Manager for Materna Industries - baby food, where they were a member of the Executive Management Team responsible for Human Resources. Efrat oversaw the formulation and implementation of HR strategy and policies to the benefit and wellbeing of the company's staff of about 130 and expanded the company's executive training programs. In 2012, they moved to Amraz as a Human Resources Manager, where they were the Head of the Human Resources Department and a Member of the Executive Management Team. Efrat led all HR affairs, including strategic, operational, planning, development, communication, budgeting, labor law compliance issues, organizational development tasks, executive training and collaboration with professional HR consulting firms. Efrat achieved success in increasing employee retention rates, establishment of executive training programs and successful execution of complex organizational changes. In 2019, they joined GemmaCert as a Human Resources Manager, where they are leading HR activities such as recruitment, talent management and performance review process, as well as supporting and advising managers and employees to better performance.

Efrat Shabtay holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Education Counselling from the University of Haifa, which they obtained between 2002 and 2005. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminology, Sociology and Anthropology from Bar-Ilan University between 1998 and 2002.
