Pei Luo

Pei Luo is a Business Development Manager at GemPharmatech, having transitioned from a Scientist role at Switch Therapeutics, where responsibilities included designing and executing in vivo experiments and conducting PK/PD analysis for RNA therapeutic candidates targeting neurodegenerative diseases. With a solid research background as a Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Davis, Pei Luo engaged in neurobiological research focusing on the mechanisms of depression and anxiety, while also serving as a Teaching Assistant in Neurophysiology. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where in vitro and in vivo biomedical experiments were performed, and earlier roles such as a Chinese tutor, rock climbing gym staff, and an intern at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Pei Luo holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Biological Psychology from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Smith College.
