Alex James

Alex James is an experienced education professional currently serving as Deputy Head of Primary at GEMS Metropole Al Waha since August 2019. Previously, Alex held key positions at Horizon International School, including Deputy Head of Primary and Assistant Head of Primary, as well as teaching roles in various year groups. Alex's teaching career began with a focus on Years 4, 5, and 6 at St Erme with Trispen Community Primary School and includes significant training in teaching through the SCITT program. Alex attained the National Professional Qualification for Headship from Best Practice Network and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Plymouth.
