Durga Prasad Palukuri

Durga Prasad Palukuri is a Lead Data Scientist at GEMS Education since March 2022, where leadership of a team of five Data Scientists has resulted in the design and implementation of twelve innovative AI projects within the EdTech sector. Prior to this role, Durga Prasad served as a Senior Data Scientist at HP R&D Center, focusing on developing machine learning models for predictive maintenance, which achieved a 15% reduction in hardware failures. Experience also includes a position as a Data Scientist at Amadeus and roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Project Engineer at Wipro Limited. Durga Prasad holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, completed in 2014, and is currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, expected to finish in March 2025.
