Sangita Thakrar

Sangita Thakrar, MA, is an experienced international educator currently serving as the MYP science teacher and DP Environmental Systems and Societies teacher at GEMS International School - Al Khail, where responsibilities include developing units and assessments in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Earth Sciences for Grades 6-10 and Diploma Program students. Previous roles included Head of Academics and Head of Science Department at ISA International School, Coordinator of Science at the Abu Dhabi Educational Council, and various leadership positions at The Chiltern Way Federation, The Walnuts School, Denbigh School, and Kemnal Technology College. Sangita holds a Master's in Leadership in Education from the University of Roehampton, a PGCE in Secondary Science Education from the University of Greenwich, and a BSc Honours in Pharmaceutical Science from the same institution.
