Jay Handel has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jay currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Gems Sensors and Setra Systems since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Finance at Fortive from September 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Fortive, Jay held various roles at Jacobs Vehicle Systems, including Vice President of Finance from October 2015 to September 2021, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis from June 2014 to October 2015, and Controller from March 2012 to June 2014. Jay also worked as Manager of External Reporting and Technical Accounting at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from January 2011 to March 2012. Jay Handel started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assurance Manager from July 2004 to January 2011.
Jay Handel attended Eastern Connecticut State University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2004. In 2017, they enrolled in the Disruptive Strategy program at Harvard Business School Online, led by Clayton Christensen.
