Maryssa O'Connor

Maryssa O'Connor FCCT is a seasoned education leader with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Member of HMC since February 2023 and as Senior Vice President at GEMS Education since May 2020. Maryssa's prior positions include Vice President of Education at GEMS Education and Principal/CEO roles at multiple institutions, including GEMS Wellington International School and Northern Education Trust. Maryssa holds an MEd in Education from the University of Buckingham, an NPQEL from Best Practice Network, and has enhanced leadership skills through courses at the University of Cambridge and IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. As a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching and High Performance Learning, Maryssa is actively involved in advancing educational practices.
