Zaineb Mahdi

Zaineb Mahdi is an experienced educational leader currently serving as a member of the GEMS Innovation Committee, where efforts are focused on driving innovation strategy, educational technology implementation, and professional development across the GEMS network. Zaineb has held the position of Assistant Head and Director of Innovation and Digital Technology at GEMS Wellington International School since August 2017, overseeing initiatives for the Wellington and Jumeirah cluster. Additionally, Zaineb works as an Assessment Specialist for Cambridge Assessment International Education, assessing iGCSE Computer Science. Previous roles include Head of House at Heartlands High School and Computer Science Teacher at Stepney Green Maths, Computing & Science College. Zaineb holds a PGCE in Secondary Computer Science from the Institute of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business and IT from the University of Westminster.
