Graeme Skinner

Graeme Skinner is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Geotechnical Division Leader and Principal Geotechnical Engineer at GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited since April 2022, Graeme has also been a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto since 2013. Prior roles include associate and principal positions at Golder, where responsibilities included leading divisions and serving as a senior geotechnical engineer from 2012 to 2022. Additionally, Graeme has lectured at McMaster University, managed infrastructure at WorleyParsons, and worked as a geotechnical engineer at Golder. An academic background includes a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Queen's University, with earlier doctoral studies at Western University and a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
