Rami El Assal

Dr. El Assal is a Scientist-Clinician turned Venture Capitalist investing in healthcare and life sciences. He is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Boutique Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that specializes in early-stage investments in Biotech, Medtech, Digital Health, and Health Edtech startups. In 2022, Dr. El Assal was selected to be amongst the Top 25 Healthcare Investors by GrowthCap Advisory.

Prior to founding Boutique Venture Partners, Dr. El Assal was a Research Scientist at the Canary Center for Cancer Early Detection at Stanford University. Before moving to Stanford, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as well as the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology division, Boston, MA.

Dr. El Assal received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Ajman University, School of Dentistry, Ajman. Two of his three years in clinical training were affiliated and accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). In 2015, Dr. El Assal was elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (USA) and International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (USA).
