Mike Rose is an experienced data sharing and digital transformation consultant with a strong background in intellectual property rights, data strategy, and governance. Currently serving as an Associate at TPXimpact, Mike supports the development of a planning data platform for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities while also consulting through MikeRose.co.uk and with various organizations including GENCFO and the Open Data Institute. Mike's prior roles encompass leadership positions in data transformation at Defra and the Environment Agency, where significant achievements include leading major projects related to open data and developing strategic data licensing frameworks. Mike holds a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University and a BSc in Oceanography and Physical Geography from Southampton University.
