Julio Valladares

Julio Valladares has extensive experience in international sales and management. Julio has held several high-level positions in various companies throughout their career.

From 2018 to the present, Valladares served as the Vice President of International Sales at Gencor Industries, Inc. Their responsibilities included developing overseas sales for asphalt plants, recruiting and managing an international sales team, and expanding the distribution network in targeted markets.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2019, Valladares worked at Roadtec as the VP of International Sales. In this role, they managed international sales directors outside of North America, collaborated with foreign subsidiaries, and developed a roadmap to prioritize international sales for the company.

Starting in 2008, Valladares joined Terex Corporation as the Director of International Sales Manager, where they covered the LATAM, Russia, Australia, and Asia regions. Julio also served as the Director of Distribution from 2011 to 2012.

Before their time at Terex, Valladares held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Volvo Construction Equipment from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they led the establishment of Volvo franchise operations in Florida, handling various tasks such as land procurement, building purchases, facility design, and hiring.

Valladares began their career at Ingersoll Rand in 1988, where they worked as a Regional Manager. Julio significantly expanded the company's Latin America territorial sales, secured major bids and contracts, and received multiple sales awards.

Overall, Valladares' work experience demonstrates their expertise in international sales, team management, distribution network development, and franchise operations.

Julio Valladares holds an MBA with a specialization in International Business from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, which was completed between 1997 and 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 1984 to 1988. Recently, they have been pursuing studies in Balance Asphalt Mix Design at Auburn University - NCAT since 2018.
