Martin Belanger

Martin Belanger is currently a Board Member at Gene. Previously, they were a Manager at London life / Great-West Lifeco Inc from December 2000 to June 2006 where they provided life insurance, health insurance, retirement savings, reinsurance, and specialty general insurance. Martin also led process improvements, developing a comprehensive performance evaluation system for investment funds, designing a new set of asset allocation funds, and creating a new report for monitoring managers. Prior to that, they were a Senior Analyst at Corporation Normandin Capital from March 1998 to December 2000 and an Equity Analyst at CTI Capital, Inc. from July 1996 to March 1998.

Martin Belanger's educational career includes obtaining a Master of Science in Finance from Université de Montréal - HEC Montréal, a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Concordia University, as well as various certifications from professional organizations such as the CAIA Association (CAIA Charterholder), the Financial Planners Standards Council (CFP), the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), the Society of Actuaries (FSA), the CFA Institute (CFA), and the CAIA Association (CAIA Charterholder).
