President and CEO at Gene codes

Howard Cash is the founder and CEO of Gene Codes Corporation, established in November 1988, which has become a leading bioinformatics company known for its Sequencher™ software for DNA sequencing. Under Cash's leadership, Gene Codes Forensics emerged as a global leader in bioinformatics for human identification, notably assisting in the identification efforts following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Cash also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Guatemalan Forensic Anthropology Foundation, which focuses on human rights and justice. Previous roles include Vice President of the 911 Families Association, Finance Chair for the International Human Genome Organization, and participation in the Kilby Foundation's International Committee. Cash's earlier experience includes engineering roles at IntelliGenetics, a major provider of bio-computing tools. Educational credentials include studies at Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania.
