Scotlynn Farmer

Scotlynn Farmer has four years of work experience. In 2023, they began working at GeneCapture, Inc. as a Project Scientist. From 2021 to 2020, they worked at Scientific Protein Laboratories, LLC as a Quality Control Analyst and Associate Quality Control Analyst. In 2020, they also worked at PPD as an Associate Scientist, performing a variety of routine to complex sample preparation and analysis procedures. Finally, in 2020, they worked at UT Health San Antonio as a Research Associate, where they were in charge of many different projects that included brain surgeries, cannula and osmotic pump insertions, genotyping, molecular biology work, DNA and RNA validation, Reverse Transcription and RNA extraction, Immunohistochemistry, the process of transformation, generation, titration, purification and validation of Adeno Associated Viruses, as well as blood collection on mice models via tail clipping or cheek bleeding.

Scotlynn Farmer attended the University of Mississippi from 2012 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Scotlynn then attended Mississippi College from 2016 to 2018.
