Luna Yu

Luna Yu began their work experience in 2013 as a Sales Representative for La Vie En Rose. In 2014, they became a Door to Door Sales Representative for Bell and an Independent Sales Agent for First Data Corporation. In 2016, they were an IRES Intern for Triovest Realty Advisors. In 2017, they became the CEO and Founder of Genecis Bioindustries Inc. (YC 2020), a company that turns food waste into biodegradable plastics.

Luna Yu attended the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2015, graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.). Luna then returned to the University of Toronto to pursue a Masters of Environmental Science, which they completed in 2016.
