Lilia Abtroun

Lilia Abtroun has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on innovation, business development, and market strategies. Lilia has held various roles at Genedata, including Head of Business Development and Manager of Business & Market Development. Lilia has also served as a Non Executive Board Member at École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Paris-Est Créteil, ESIPE. Prior to that, Lilia worked at Ariana Pharma as Associate Director of Innovation & Business Development and as a Data Science Project Manager. Lilia has also worked as a Research Scientist at LIRMM, specializing in artificial intelligence algorithms for patient stratification.

Lilia ABTROUN pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Chemoinformatics, Drug Design, and Artificial Intelligence from the Ecole supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Electrotechnique et Electronique, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2007. During this time, they also obtained a Master of engineering and technology in biosciences from the Institut Supérieur des Biosciences de Paris. Following this, they obtained a Master of Molecular and Biological Chemistry from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2006 and 2007. Later, they enrolled in the Graduate School for Information, Structures and Systems sciences at Montpellier University II, where they completed their PhD in Bioinformatics between 2008 and 2011.
