Sascha Fischer

Sascha Fischer currently serves as a Business Development Manager in Automation at Genedata, focusing on automating complex experimental workflows while collaborating with global customers and partners. Concurrently, Sascha is completing a PhD at the University Hospital Basel in the Department of Biomedicine, concentrating on genetic analysis related to Bipolar Disorder. Previous roles include an Application Specialist for Genomics at Tecan and Hamilton Bonaduz AG, where responsibilities involved developing NGS applications and providing technical consulting. Early experiences in research internships focused on human genetics and virology, complemented by a background in nursing with various roles from 2000 to 2006. Sascha holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Molecular Medicine from the University of Tübingen and has also studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
