Wolfgang Vahrson

Wolfgang Vahrson has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and bioinformatics industries. Wolfgang started their career in 2001 as the Managing Director at SoftGene GmbH and later served as the Managing Director at Mologen GmbH. In both roles, they focused on bioinformatics. From 2002 to 2006, Wolfgang owned their own company, Bioinformatics Consulting. In 2006, they joined Genedata AG, where their roles included being the Head of Professional Services Phylosopher and later the Head of Software Development Biologics. In the latter position, they served as the principal technical architect of the Genedata Biologics® software, an enterprise data management system for biologics research and development.

Wolfgang Vahrson completed their education at Freie Universität Berlin. From 1985 to 1992, they pursued a Diplom degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Later, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics.
