Carlos Medina is a Scientist II at GenEdit since February 2022, focusing on therapeutic siRNA design, development, and assay development for analyzing siRNA candidates using a dual-luciferase reporter system. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist I and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, where Carlos earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences. Additional internships include positions at NASA Ames Research Center, DuPont, Roche Molecular Systems, and Unified Grocers, with a strong foundation in tissue engineering and neurobiology from earlier research roles. Carlos holds a B.S. in Biomolecular Engineering from Santa Clara University.
